Historic Restoration
This type of restoration
can be very complex and requires close communication between the owner and
contractor.
These are typically much older homes; sometimes the needed materials are hard
to come by. For instance, it can be difficult locating a mill that can supply
a particular older wood.. However, we have a good track record with many contacts
throughout the world to supply our needs.
Once we have the proper materials, we then start the process of removing and reinstalling. When completed, we have returned it back to the original historic appearance.
Refinishing Process
We determine with you the new desired outcome. The floor is then sanded down to the raw wood and from that point it is treated just like a new floor.
