When we speak of vents, molding and stair parts we are speaking of wood not the standard metal and plastics that are seen in most new construction today. These are one or two notches above. Wood products add beauty to any installation. You are not limited to just one or two of these items, there are several to choose from. For vents you have the “flush type”, this is with a rabbeted frame in order to keep it flush with the floor. Then we have the “self rimming” style, that’s one that slips into the opening and the flange /rim lies on the floor (not flush). Then of course there is the “3 D” type that’s the one that is angled and fits against the floor and the wall.
The others are “cold air returns” one that fits onto the wall or floor and a larger square one that is cubed that can fit on the wall or the floor. The moldings are nosings for steps and reducers to go from one height to another. Our standard stair parts consist of treads and nosings, but we can supply handrails and skirt boards if need be.
